How to perform self-therapy

I’m going to quickly teach people on how to perform self therapy in the sense that you can actually work through issues that you have of an obviously psychological nature to gain better understanding of yourself, without having to go to a psychologist or psychiatrist or similar. So no need for a shrink or anything. This is especially practical for a lot of people that are not comfortable with discussing personal issues with someone else, especially someone that they view as a stranger and therefore do not trust at least in part. The simple, effective method is self-recording. You can do this for example on your cell phone, most smartphones nowadays have audio recorders that come with the phone. If not, you can easily find one to download and install on your phone or buy an audio recorder at the very least. Simply vent at your own pace by getting everything off your chest that was bothering you, so simply say whatever you want to say in whatever tone of voice in a completely uninhibited, unrestricted manner and save it. This way you can listen to yourself and re-analyze everything that you said, the way you said it etc. and all of this will give you great clarity and insight into whatever was bothering you. All of this of course is quite convenient, in the sense that you always have your phone with you, and the files are accessible at any given time and only by you or anyone you choose to share them with (of course I don’t recommend the latter for obvious reasons). And of course all of this does not just apply to things that bother you, you are free to share anything you want to get off your mind, needless to say the greatest benefit is that all of this doesn’t require you to socialize with people in any way.

An example (obviously fictional) on how etc.:
