The official definition of this is ” while you can provide someone with an opportunity, resources, or advice, you cannot force them to take advantage of it or act against their will. It emphasizes that personal motivation and choice are essential for action, as one cannot compel another person to do something they are unwilling to do “.
Why am I discussing this? Because it is something that (unfortunately) so many people that cope with issues of a mental or spiritual nature have as a problem. The majority of people I see that have an interest in the occult ‘suffer’ from this; similar to an escort that wants to stop doing what she does for a living but is unwilling to take the necessary steps and put in the hard work to say the least to do so, people that have an interest in spirituality that, more often than not, are stuck between a rock and a hard place regarding state of mind and consequentially material state of being want more than anything to be free from their woes, but simultaneously they are not willing to take the steps both figuratively and literally in order to do so. Simply put, these people are pretty much dying to solve all of their problems personally as well as overall, but the second they need to actually put in the work to do so, real serious work – nope. Usually these people find themselves at the bottom of society in terms of overall worth, the minnows if you will (regardless of interest in esotericism).
What to take away from this? Don’t be these people, or if you are one of them be aware of this, provided you were not; action requires reaction and vice versa. Do you seriously think that you can solve all of your problems by simply remaining idle because of fear or some other emotion or mental affliction? Of course not. Let alone, do you think that someone is going to come along and “save” you? You want to stay as you are, down in the dumps – fine. But under no condition do you have to expect things to get better. In this case, you have no one else but yourself to blame.
You don’t move an inch, don’t expect to gain one
